- Compliance -

Effective compliance practices within an organisation constitute a cornerstone of modern corporate governance, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and maintaining the highest ethical standards. The concept of compliance encompasses the alignment of a company’s operations with binding legal regulations, while the implementation of a structured compliance framework enables the identification and mitigation of irregularities.
A compliance department, frequently responsible also for personal data protection, oversees AML processes, conducts regular employee training, and establishes the company’s anti-corruption standards. A professional compliance officer develops sector-specific guidelines and designs training programmes that ensure the organisation’s activities remain compliant with the law.
Investment in compliance safeguards the enterprise against legal risks, enhances its reputation, and enables compliance with industry and statutory requirements. It is therefore not only a necessity, but also a practical driver of business development, ensuring organisational stability and operational transparency.

We set a new standard in compliance

We support clients at every stage of the process, from risk assessment and planning, through implementation, to ongoing monitoring. Our approach combines practical experience, a deep understanding of business realities, and high legal standards. We do not create procedures for the sake of formality; we design solutions that genuinely work.

Compliance aligned with business. We understand the challenges companies face, which is why we provide services tailored to an evolving environment. We apply modern project-management methods and legal know-how to deliver effective support. Our work is flexible and efficient, enabling us to act as a true partner to the business.

The team – our ability to deliver comprehensive compliance services stems from the strength and scale of KKZ’s team. Compliance projects are carried out in close cooperation with lawyers specialising in key areas of legal compliance: employment and labour law, criminal law, white-collar crime, tax criminal law, ESG, protection of personal rights, unfair competition law, as well as litigation and arbitration, and reputation-crisis management.

How we operate

We build a compliance management system step by step, flexibly and tailored to the organisation’s real needs. Together, these elements form a coherent and effective compliance framework; however, each component may also function as a standalone module, chosen according to the specific nature and requirements of the organisation.

Business environment analysis
We examine the company’s industry, structure, and regulatory landscape. This allows us to tailor our services to actual risks and the operational context.

Risk identification and assessment
We identify key risks (corruption, abuse, sanctions, etc.), sensitive areas, and functions exposed to elevated risk.

Audit of preventive measures
We review existing procedures, training programmes, and controls, assessing their effectiveness and alignment with best practices.

Internal regulations and procedures
We design or update internal documentation in a clear format (legal design), understandable to employees at all levels.

Communication and training
We develop educational and communication plans, supporting the creation of a culture of compliance.

Incident response
We assist in implementing breach-response procedures and conduct internal investigations.

Regulatory monitoring
We monitor regulatory developments and advise on adapting to new requirements.

Compliance system enhancement
We implement mechanisms for regular review and continuous improvement of the compliance framework.

Selected Services

Compliance Audit
We conduct an in-depth analysis of processes and functions most exposed to non-compliance risk. Our focus lies in identifying sensitive areas and assessing the effectiveness of existing controls, enabling us to recommend specific remedial and improvement measures.

Compliance Communication & Training
Building a culture of compliance requires clear communication and well-designed educational programmes. We support organisations in developing effective communication strategies and training plans tailored to different employee groups.

Code of Conduct & Ethics
We create codes of conduct that reflect the organisation’s values and serve as practical guidance for everyday decision-making, tailored to the company’s size, industry, and ethical maturity.

Anti-Corruption Compliance
We design tailored anti-corruption solutions, from policies and procedures to preventive controls and educational initiatives. Our support helps organisations develop a transparent and abuse-resistant operating environment.

Competition & Fair-Trading Compliance
We assist organisations in meeting competition-law requirements and designing safeguards to mitigate the risk of violations, both in day-to-day operations and in interactions with regulatory authorities.

Protection of Assets & Trade Secrets
We help safeguard a company’s most valuable assets, know-how, data, trade information, and physical property. We implement clear rules and procedures to minimise the risk of data breaches or misconduct.

AML/CFT Compliance
We ensure compliance with anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing regulations. Our support covers both formal obligations and employee awareness-building.

Business Partner Due Diligence
Comprehensive vetting of business partners is crucial for reducing the risk of cooperating with non-compliant entities. We offer full due diligence procedures, including public-data review, sanctions screening, and compliance assessment, ensuring that partnerships remain lawful and secure.

Remote Compliance Officer
There is no need to hire a full-time compliance specialist, we can assume this function for you. Our Remote Compliance Officer service provides continuous oversight of regulatory compliance: monitoring legislative changes, updating policies, offering day-to-day advisory, conducting training and audits, and preparing reports for management. This is a practical and cost-efficient solution for companies seeking professional compliance support without establishing an internal position.

HR Compliance
We support HR departments in designing and implementing comprehensive labour-law-compliant and ethically aligned frameworks. Our work includes policies and procedures relating to recruitment, employment, performance evaluation, termination, anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing measures, and ethical people-management standards. We help build workplaces grounded in transparency, equality, and legal compliance.

Cyber Compliance
We deliver comprehensive cybersecurity and AI-governance solutions. We assist in implementing appropriate protective measures against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to the use of artificial intelligence and data.
