- Associate Professor of Law (habilitation), Attorney-at-law, Assistant Professor at the Chair of Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure at the University of Warsaw. Specialist in the legal protection of cultural heritage, heritage protection law, the trade in cultural goods, and museum law.
- Of Counsel at KKZ. Supports the firm’s clients and team with expertise in administrative law, particularly in matters concerning heritage protection and the trade in works of art.
- National and international expert in the field of cultural heritage protection, cooperating, among others, with the Polish National Commission for UNESCO. Member of numerous expert bodies, including Chair of the World Heritage Committee in Poland, and in 2012–2017 a member of the Council for the Protection of Monuments at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
- Director of the Department for the Protection of Monuments at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2018–2021), acting as the second-instance authority reviewing decisions issued in the first instance by monument protection authorities, and responsible, among other things, for developing directions for legislative changes in this area. Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the Reform of Heritage Protection Law (2021–2023) and Director of the National Heritage Institute (2022–2024).
- Experienced trainer and advisor in matters related to the implementation of the investment process.
- Author of numerous academic and popular science publications and studies in the field of administrative law and administrative procedure, including issues related to the challenges of the investment process in historic buildings and heritage areas.
- Author of the most up-to-date commentary on the Act on the Protection and Care of Monuments currently available on the market, and co-author of subsequent editions of: Law on Proceedings before Administrative Courts. Commentary, ed. R. Hauser et al., CH Beck Publishing (2025), and Administrative Law, ed. J. Jagielski et al., Wolters Kluwer (2025).
